Short answer: Yes, your church group can see Israel and Jordan on one trip. Mission Travel Faith Tours runs a 13-day Israel and Jordan group tour that covers Tel Aviv, Tiberias and the Galilee, the Dead Sea, Jerusalem, Amman, and Petra, with breakfast and dinner daily and airport transfers on arrival and departure. It is a sample itinerary, so we customize it for your congregation, your dates, and your budget. Call 407-377-7912 to start planning.
Pastors ask me all the time whether Jordan is worth the extra days. My answer is almost always yes. Jordan is not a side trip from the Bible. It is the other bank of the Jordan River. Moses looked over the Promised Land from its mountains. The tribes of Reuben, Gad, and half of Manasseh settled there. Jesus ministered in the region of the Decapolis on that side of the Sea of Galilee. When your people stand in both lands, the map in the back of their Bible suddenly makes sense.
What a 13-day Israel and Jordan group tour covers
- Tel Aviv and the coast: arrival, transfer, and a gentle start for travelers coming off a long flight.
- Tiberias and the Galilee: the lake where Jesus called fishermen, taught the crowds, and calmed the storm.
- The Dead Sea, Masada, and Ein Gedi: the Masada cable car, the oasis where David hid from Saul, and a float in the Dead Sea.
- Jerusalem: the heart of the trip, where the last week of Jesus' life becomes a walk your group will never forget.
- Amman: museums, the Roman theatre, and churches in Jordan's capital.
- Petra: the rose-red city carved into stone, one of the great wonders of the world.
Why church groups add Jordan
- The whole story of the land. Israel shows your group where Jesus walked. Jordan shows them where Israel's story began, east of the river, before the people crossed in.
- Petra is unforgettable. Even travelers who have been to Israel before sign up again when Petra is on the itinerary. That helps a pastor fill the group.
- More time to slow down. A longer trip gives room for devotions, worship, and rest, not just bus rides between sites.
How group size works
Our published group pricing for this tour is based on 20 or more travelers. We build private custom Christian group tours for groups from 10 to 500, and the larger your group, the better the pricing. For every 20 paid travelers, one spot is free, and groups of 20 or more travel with one of our tour managers. Many pastors use the free spot for themselves or to bless someone in the church who could not otherwise go.
A simple planning path for pastors
- Decide the purpose. Is this a Bible-teaching trip, a leadership retreat, a family and friends group, or a first trip for new believers? The purpose shapes the pace.
- Choose your season and length. Thirteen days is our sample. We can shorten or extend it.
- Call us early. Share your dates, group size, and budget, and a destination specialist will build a custom itinerary you can present to your church.
- Prepare your people. Teach through the passages you will see. Joshua, the Gospels, and the journeys of Moses all come alive on this route.

Can you help with flights?
Yes. We assist with booking flights and coordinate airlines and routes for your group.
Can we change the itinerary?
Yes. Every itinerary is a starting point. We tailor sites, hotels, meals, and pace to your group's interests and budget.
If your church is praying about the Holy Land, consider giving your people both sides of the Jordan. See the Israel and Jordan group tour, read how we work with pastors planning a church trip, explore private custom Christian group tours, or contact our team.
