It's building a marriage that sees each other and other people the way God sees us. It's a marriage that brings God’s mission into their marriage, their parenting, their workplace, their schools, and any other activity someone might do. It’s not going on a Mission Trip although that would be awesome, it's learning practical habits for our marriage that reflect God's mission here on earth.

Pete, Barry, and Bob love to take the show on the road, but more importantly, love encouraging couples in God’s word to be missional minded in their marriages as well as in their life. Meet your hosts:
Pete Robertson: 
Pastor Pete grew up in Southern California. He became a Christian at age 20 and began attending Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, pastored by Chuck Smith. He met his wife, Christine, at her brother’s baseball game in El Toro, CA and it was love at first sight, keep in mind they were only 12 years old. They were married on July 10, 1993, and have 3 grown children, Austin 26, Breeana 23 and Faith 18. In 2002, the Robertson family moved to Saint George, UT to plant Hope Christian Church. The church began small, but God blessed the ministry, and later merged with Calvary Chapel Saint George under Pastor Rick Nerud.
In the year 2009, God called the family back to California to transition into missions work with Butterfly International. Pete sat on the board, as well as traveled and taught at churches both nationally and internationally. In 2014 the family transitioned one more time to Florida where Pete became the Senior Pastor of a Church searching for a fresh start and where His family currently resides.
Pete is known for his clear and challenging exposition of the Scriptures and can be heard weekly on the RIOT Podcast. Pete also published a book, "Conquer through Surrender."
Favorite verse: “And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong” (2 Corinthians 12:9-10).
Barry Rice: Pastor Barry Rice has been married to his dream girl for over 30 years. They have been blessed with 6 amazing kids. (Cailah married 26, JD 24 graduated from Charleston Southern U, Cassie 20 attends Stetson U, Carleigh 15, Cami 8, and Jaxson 5). Barry and Christina have been in Full-time ministry for over 25 Years, planting 2 churches, doing Youth ministry, and Feats of Strength. Barry came to Christ playing football for Liberty University in 1988. Liberty is also where Barry and Christina met and fell in love. Barry’s Passion is building up discipled couples who carry the HOPE of the Cross to the hurting, winning the lost, mentoring them up, and encouraging them to be lights in a dark world. He likes watching good movies, 4 wheeling, hunting, traveling, and anything else with his family.
Favorite verse 2 Corinthians 5:21 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Bob Schoneman: Bob Schoneman was born in upstate New York but calls Florida where he moved with his family at the age of 10 home. Bob accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 13 and was baptized at his local church, Pompano Baptist Temple (now Grace Church). Bob met his beautiful wife Crystal while attending Florida State University, where they both bowled for the Seminoles. Crystal and Bob were married in 2002 and have 1 amazing child, Samantha who was born in 2011.
Although Bob has been a Christian most of his life, he will tell you that his faith and relationship with God didn’t start to mature until 1. He became a father, 2. He started being discipled, 3. He started serving.
Bob is passionate about stirring the hearts of men to be better husbands, fathers, and leaders in their communities by encouraging them to build their personal relationships with Jesus and use the platform God has given them to share the Gospel. Bob served in the USAF and currently helps people buy and sell homes in Central Florida.
Favorite verse is: “for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” (2 Timothy 1:7 ESV)
Worship with Chelsea and Bree:
Chelsea
Born in central Florida, Chelsea is the youngest of five. Growing up she was the entertainer, always creating dance routines and singing around the house. Although she grew up in a non-Christian household, she got plugged into a youth group with her friend and found Christ at a music festival that she attended with the church in 2007.
After the festival, she became hungry for more of Christ and plugged herself into the youth group to serve and lead worship and small groups in the children’s ministry. In 2010 she decided to join the worship team and use her voice to be a light to anyone she comes in contact with. Since then, Chelsea has been actively serving her church and was even on staff as a Worship Leader and Event Director. Chelsea’s passion and excitement for the Lord is evident while she is leading worship.
Favorite verse: “So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” (Hebrews 4:16 NLT)
Breeana (Bree) was born in Southern California but moved with her family to Utah at a young age. There she grew up under the teachings of Calvary Chapel and learned the core lessons of the Bible. She and her family moved back to California during her middle school years and in the summer of 2012, she went to a 5-week youth discipleship program at the local Calvary Chapel Bible College. There she found a new love for Christ and accepted him as her own. Shortly after leaving she discovered her love for worship and taught herself to sing and play the guitar.
After a close friend pushed her to audition for her high school youth group worship team, Breeana finally listened to the call God had on her life. Although Bree has been a Christian most of her life, it is through worship that she really understands the love and intimacy of Christ. She has run away from it a few times, but the Lord has always brought her back to it. Since then, she has been actively leading worship in local churches around the world for upwards of 8 years. It’s through her intimate and passionate worship that others are drawn into the presence of Christ.
Favorite verse is: “The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him.” (Psalm 28:7 NKJV)

Can we bring our children?
This is a couple’s only event. Our desire is for you and your spouse to have the opportunity to separate from your parent life and focus on your relationship with each other and the Lord. Children are not permitted on the Mission Minded Getaway.
Pre-Trip Information:
How do we book our airfare and what airport should we fly into?
We will assist you with booking all of your flights for the Tour. Your Group Tour Destination Expert will coordinate with you to ensure we pair the right airlines and routes for your group. All flights for this trip will fly out of one of the NY Airports. You can book your flight from your home destination for arrival at one of the NY Airports or we can assist as well. Your domestic flight is not included in the current listed price.
When will we receive the final trip itinerary and more information about the optional activities?
Once you register for the trip, you will receive the trip itinerary via email. There is an additional option to visit the island of Santorini on day 7 at an additional cost of $400 per person. Please let our travel specialist know if you would like to book this excursion at the time of initial contact.
What type of clothing should we bring?
Casual comfortable attire is recommended for the majority of the trip. For speaking engagements, and optional activities we recommend casual resort wear, and a light jacket.
How do we get into each event?
You will be provided with a Mission Minded Getaway lanyard when you check in. The lanyard is required to enter into each event and on tour.
Is attendance at any of the speaking sessions or performances required?
Attendance is recommended at the speaking sessions so you get the full experience of the marriage conference, but it is not required. It is completely up to you to decide which speaking sessions you want to attend, but they are so amazing we don’t think you’ll want to miss any of them!
Health and Safety Information
Are there any entry requirements to Greece?
As per the latest update, Greece will reopen its borders again on April 21, 2021. It will start by allowing foreign visitors coming from the USA, UK, EU countries, Israel, Serbia, and the United Arab Emirates. Non-vaccinated travelers are required to present a negative result of a Covid-19 test taken within 72 hours before their flight. Vaccinated travelers don't need to undergo a test.
On May 14, 2021, Greece will open to travelers from all countries. Possession of proper documentation is the responsibility of each passenger.
What safety measures will be in place on the getaway?
This event will be run in accordance with the state regulations in place at the time of the event in regards to social distancing and face-covering requirements. Travelers are responsible for all Covid-19 related requirements and costs that travel suppliers and governments may impose, such as pre-travel testing, health screenings prior to departure or upon arrival, health affidavit forms, face coverings, or quarantines, etc.
